A Thorough Groom & De - Mat

A thorough groom and de-mat consists of clipping out the mats and knots that cannot be groomed out.

 

These mats are usually attached to the skin and can cover the whole body. Once the mats have gone whatever is left is thoroughly groomed getting rid of all the dead hair and debris. 

 

In this groom the claws can be cut if necessary, a hygiene clip if necessary and thinning of the coat if needed. Ears and eyes can be cleaned and if the cat owner wishes a waterless bath can be given.
